Heard back from Mongoose. It's apparently a B&N error. They're on it.
Yeah B&N is having an Error prob for sure.  I called them again today and I was told that they couldn't even order the book, there system would say they could not put in an order.

Hey this is kinda off the subject on the subject kinda thing.  I been looking up stuff on the Spycraft Collectible Card Game..... Do you think you guys may every bring it back?  Or maybe even a FantasyCraft CCG?

Nope. For one thing, you need to have a front-end bankroll of a quarter million dollars to potentially (read: probably) throw away. For another, none of the Crafty Three are particularly enamored with the format. I love the storytelling potential but even that's better served by other approaches.

WOW!  yeah man that aint worth a quarter million, for sure.....  Yeah the little I read about the story is cool.  I like the idea of a shadow war going on between spy faction.  I was thinking about running a spycraft 2.0 game with that setting, but I haven't gotten to the GC chapter yet in the book lol.  Right now I'm learning about all the skill checks in the spycraft 2.0.  Great read so far.

World on Fire "details" the CCG setting, and Operation Nightfall is a novella set there, and the free adventure 'Twas the Night before Deathmas, although a little tongue in cheek, takes place in it.

Also, I think Trigger's Spycraft Day mission is set in the World on Fire as well.

I just picked up a couple of copies for myself since they are easier to transport... 2 of them equal the space of 1 of the hardbound copies.

Anyone know of any good, reliable online sources to order it? I know someone who would like to get a copy, but doesn't have a FLGS near them.

www.iguk.co.uk are good for UK orders, but in other lands I have no idea.

In the US (well, anywhere, but shipping over seas is murder from what I've seen) Paizo has it and a good reputation and customer service.

You can also order it from Mongoose directly, in the UK and US.

At this point, I think I'm contractually obligated to pimp myself: http://www.hobbymasters.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=17906

I do not have it in stock today, but if I get the order by Thursday morning (Eastern U.S. time), I could ship it Friday.

I am just following orders.  If you can make Spycraft sell as well as 4E for me (i.e. quite well, IMO), I'm sure my boss won't question what it's doing in the aisle.

Speaking of which, how's that Fantasycraft manuscript going?  Wink

Does the fact that I've barely slept in the last week and a half count for anything?

Dude! Shocked Don't go killing yourself for my sake, I'm just joshin' ya.  Go get some rest.  Marathon writing like that is just going to mean more editing later.
