I have developed a deep interest in running a campaign that's something like a mix between Snatch (or Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels) and Oceans Eleven... with maybe a little HardBoiled thrown in.  I'm thinking of having the characters start in whatever interests them (car theft, convenience store holdups, ect.) and eventually more on to taking down Black Knight Casino.  Anyway, while I think this will work perfectly fine with stock 2.0, do you guys think I should hold off until 10k Bullets to start it off?

Depends on if you have other stuff to run. I think 10KB isn't due while towards the end of the year at best. so it's a few months away.
If it were maybe 6 weeks away I'd advise waiting, but as it is...

Yeah...10kB is MADE for this campaign. Your list of references all fall within my own in developing the property, heist games are a particular love of mine (see The Heist, this summer's smash-hit 10kB demo), and criminal mayhem is greatly aided and abbetted by that book. BUT I would never suggest you stop a campaign to wait for it. You have the players, so get playing Smiley I would strongly suggest allowing the PCs access to the 5-level previews of the Fixer, Thief, and Thug base classes from the Living Spycraft site, as this will allow you to more smoothly incorporate 10kB when the book is on the shelves Smiley

Where can we see or (more importantly for us on the other side of the pond) download said demo?

It's being finalized now. I've also had a large photo gallery waiting the time when I was enthused/free enough to complete and post it. Let me just say - the demo's utter madness (average group size: 16+ players!). Makes me a proud papa Grin

If you've got an event coming up, drop me an email and we'll get you the materials and promote the outing on our Events page. For the time being, we're not planning to put the demos up as downloads on the site until after their initial runs. Otherwise everyone downloads them and no one can actually use the for events anymore.  Wink
