I'm an art student, so I have no practical skills of note. If you want me to fix a car or help you fight a war, you're screwed. I do, however, have a lot of largely useless knowledge about the following subjects:
Art. I'm familiar with artists, movements, and specific works going back to, say, the medieval era. I'm better with the details of 20th century and contemporary art, however, with a pretty clear American bias. I also know more than anybody should about cartooning and comic books.
Film. I've been a film nerd since grade school and have watched, studied, and written about movies fairly extensively. I don't restrict myself to specific genres, eras, or points of origin; if its good or at least worth seeing once, there's a fairly good chance I've heard of it or actually seen it.
Literature. I can't claim to be a voracious reader, but I've tried to keep abreast of the classics and popular fiction in general. In terms of genre, I'm more of a crime guy than a sci-fi/fantasy reader, but I've dabbled in everything excepting maybe romance and cookbooks.
