Just came across some Spell Jammer stuff and now really wants Fantasy Craft to be out so that I can run a spell jammer campaign.

There is NOTHING to be ashamed about there.

Ok, I might be biased, what with owning the complete line, the novels, the complete run of the comic book, and the video game.

Aaaarrrggghhh! Suddenly I have a hankering for pea soup with a meat pie floater.  Roll Eyes

The Auld Grump, who is not Australian, and so has no excuse!

*EDIT* At least it was something that I had the fixings for. Not a proper one mind you - frozen pie, frozen pea soup, and jarred tomato sauce. But it did the job. Smiley (Knowing that I had the ingredients was part of the hankering, I think.) Pea soup now heating up.

So... food intake wasn't my first thought there, and I was a little taken aback. Tongue

You get the weirdest hankerings. I usually only get hankerings for cookies (mmm Oreo's), or occasionally an orange soda float...

Hey, don't be mean to my pea soup with a pork pie floating in the pot! (At least the pea soup was home made before freezing - the pie was bought frozen from the supermarket, and the tomato sauce was Classico....)

Picture links to recipe.

Kind of disgusting to look at, maybe. But it does taste good.

There is a certain level of wasted that is required for that to be tasty.

Stone cold sober. Smiley (I seldom drink, and never indulge in other, more dubious, vices. Books and gaming are my addictions of choice.)

Train of thought: I'm hungry! --> Pea soup? I've got some in the freezer. --> Not solid enough! I need to feel like I got something in me stomach! --> Meat pie? I have one of those too....--> Hungrier than that! One tiny meat pie ain't gonna cut it me boyo! --> Both? Shocked --> Now you're talking!

The Auld Grump, which I think explains a good deal of Australian/British Isles cuisine....

I am intending to steal the name of an apartment owner that I met yesterday, and use his name for the first Mastermind in the steampunk archaeology game. He is going to be an industrialist who first meets the team when they find out that he now owns the land that their current dig lies within.

Thomas Henchman, mastermind. Tongue I never even suspected that Henchman might be someone's name.

Shocked Thomas Henchman?  That, sir, is thoroughly awesome, and I believe you have made a grave error by placing this message in the "I ought to be ashamed" thread.  Stand tall, stand proud!  Grin

Mr. Henchman deserves not only to have a mastermind named after him, but also a medal in honor of his name's sheer awesomeness.

The only way to make it better might be to create Thomas Henchman, henchman - and even then I'm not sure it's actually a significant improvement.
