Soviet napalm test site

Those aren't icicles or stalagtites: that's where the napalm has melted the brick.

Ooo.. I think I've been there.. if it's the place I'm thinking of its an old alum quarry near the edge of the Yorkshire Moors, just southwest of Staithes and the like.

Nice see some "Good Places" closer to my home!

I pretty much save any images I can find of places that seem inspiring or unique like this, unfortunately most of them I can't provide sources or further information for, but here's one I can:

Kowloon Walled City

Ok, that image host was unhappy, heres a temporary solution until I find something better

Edit: Got it

Now that's some cool shit..... imagine a mission that includes a foot chase between a PC and a NPC villain where both are parkour experts...  Shocked

Wish I could find a photo online of the rooftops, weaving through the dense forest of antennae would be a lot of fun.

There are a lot of images I have that I don't think follow the thread, since I've got little to no info on them, but I've put some up on that photobucket account, those I have names and info for will have what I've got in their descriptions

Check it out here [link], any insights into those I don't know would be gladly appreciated

One for historical games -

http://community.livejournal.com/abandonedplaces/1663850.html - a ruined house in the middle of the Ukraine winter

http://community.livejournal.com/abandonedplaces/1664580.html - The old Kuser Estate. There is a house, barn, pond, various out buildings, and even a green house, all with a fantastic view of the Delaware River valley on Baldpate Mountain in Mercer County, NJ
