"Official Spycraft Day - March 20th.

The first “Official” Spycraft Day, honoring the Day of the Bullet, is just around the corner.  This is a day to honor the art that is espionage and the game that we have all come to know and love – Spycraft.  This is a perfect way to introduce the Spycraft RPG system to the masses, your friends and your local gaming store.

Having trouble organizing or getting the word out that you play Spycraft? No problem.  We here at TheAgencyStar have got you covered.  We could think of no better way or date to start your next Spycraft gaming session than on (or around) the “Official” Spycraft Day - March 20th.  To commemorate this special day, we have created two downloadable fliers that you can use to recruit new Agents for your next mission, and welcome them to the world of Spycraft.

I'm glad you've reminded us.  I'm going to be running a Spycraft slot at a convention March 20th (StillCon, in Stillwater OK).  Now I'll have handy fliers to promote with.

Any chance there could be a version where people can put also their own logos? If it's done by some game group or something like that, it would save some time to at least have space for them...

That's a good idea, but unfortunately, not doable at this time.  Maybe down the road or next year we could look into incorporating that into the flier to make it more personal. Smiley

:Update

I am in the midst of creating a small "Day of the Bullet" 2009 mission for this years "Official" Spycraft Day. This will not be a actual Database mission that loads into the Spycraft Agency Database 2.0, but more of a short PDF version, somewhat like the Mission Bundles TheAgencyStar provides.

This mission will center around the key figure (The Triggerman) and March 20th, the Day of the Bullet from the "World on Fire" backstory. It will be general enough that it will not conflict with what Crafty has coming out for WoF material. I submitted my idea and draft to Crafty and was given the green light to create this mission with some guidance from Pat as well. Thanks Pat for the go-ahead.  I will also include a Audio Briefing of the Intel to go along with the Mission Report and maps as usual. Once I get the DotB template created, this could very well be a "Yearly" mission run with a different scenario each year encompassing this same theme. Hopefully I can get it done in the next couple of weeks.

Question, do you want a list of who's running demos where for this? (asking a game store I am in a great deal to run a demo)

Good call.   Smiley That would be great.  I posted my demo for that weekend in the events link that Pat provided.  Thanks Pat.

I will be running two slots of Spycraft in Stillwater, Oklahoma on the 21st of March.  Anybody near the region is of course welcome, though you'll need to register for the convention.  Smiley

As a sweetener for folks within road-trippin' distance, I'll also be fronting out a double demo of Fantasycraft (once on the 20th and once on the 22nd), using last year's GenCon preview adventure, The Darkest Hour.

I'm inviting all the roleplayers I know to a massive Spycraft one shot. How many actually show up is TBD...

We've posted ... on our Myspace page.

I was wondering when that would come to pass. Now Crafty can be in my top 2 dozen.
