With the Raptor's level 6 ability "Armour Grace" can it take the defense modifier of the partial armour above 0?

So if we're level 12 (hence 5d8) action die and you wear low profile armour (DP 0) would you in effect get a +5 bonus to defence for wearing the armour?

Given that various other alterations to DP and ACP tend to specify that the effects max out at 0, I'd say no.

It was that lack of any form of clarification in the description that left us confused. I know the armour basics tree & personal tailoring both specify max +0; and armour use just gives a generic +X to defence...

Wondering if the folks just forgot to add the "to a amaximum of +0" sentence in the description

The ability as originally written worked using armour rules that don't actually exist in spycraft's version of d20 -- most other versions of d20 have armour that limits the max bonus to Defence you receive from your Dexterity, and the original version was an increase on that limit.

Given space was at a premium come the second printing when they folded in a bunch of corrections, I'd say they simply didn't have room for what they felt was contextually implied by the various other extant mechanics
