We know Bond has at least 14 levels of Wheelman ... he might have some Brawler in him though

I'm really looking to the Shadow Patriots supplement, I still remember going completely ecstatic about the master class preview it had. But I guess the plans with those have altered along the way?

Plans have altered for that: I'm heading back into the World on Fire after Fantasy Craft (with a side order of 10kB, but first I plan to finish what I started with that little terrorist epic). Smiley

The master classes, on the other hand, have not changed - other than being joined by a stack of new material, of course.

This was even discussed back on the old Spycraft/AEG boards. With some of the vehicle stuff he does (Man With Golden Gun comes to mind amongst others), he would have to have it.

At most he needs 10 levels to get That's Impossible -- the Wheelman's 14th ability isn't all that great or essential. He can get away with significantly less if he takes Stuntman as his ExC off a a couple levels of Faceman (he's been using that disposition shift core ability a lot since Judi Dench became M), then a level each of Wheelman and Martial Artist.

Yeah, well, I haven't seen him tinkering with his car in any of the incarnations. (Of course I avoid the Moore Bonds like the plague, so it could be just me.) Besides, I was talking about the Craig interpretation of Bond, and that being a Thug for more than seven levels. Sorry I didn't make that clearer Smiley

Depends on which Bond - Connery's bond was not all that invested in Wheelman for example. As for Nivens....

The Auld Grump, this is our new James Bond.
Oh, which one is he?
I think that he is number seven.

*EDIT* Both Connery's and Craig's Bonds have at least a few levels of Thug, I think.

I figure Connery had more Martial Artist given that he uses Judo and Boxing during his fights since Bond was trained that way.

Scott's comment on about Doji Domotai in the Gallant topic reminded me of something i had been looking for. A toolkit for dealing with Taint. I could almost see it being handled as an add-on to fragile minds.

It would be useful for running an l5r game when fantasycraft is released.

Back on topic  Wink though, I can definately see the arguments for some bonds having wheelman levels. I always prefer to think of Connery and Craig as having a few levels in badass rather than thug Grin

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.

Time for a separate thread, maybe, I've been holding back here! Wink

Another toolkit that would be fun would be something along the lines of NPC/Monster compendiums for Mastercraft.  You could introduce new critters, add new NPC abilities and perhaps even toss in a few playable monster races as you go along.  This would also be a good thing to toss in more mount options, and fun toys like that.

I believe the Monster compendium thing is going to be in FC. Unless, they are just putting a list of monsters and such which would make it a separate pdf.
