i wish that i had a better house.

Granted. You have a beautiful house on the east coast of Florida. It will be wiped out by the first major hurricane of the season.

I wish I were a chess Grandmaster.

Granted. You are - you're also such a hopeless nerd that you'll never have sex again and no-one (and i mean not even other nerds) will speak to you. Enjoy your empty, meaningless, chess-filled existance.

I wish Crafty could afford to produce print copies of all of thier PDFs.

What's the protocol in this thread when wishes actually come true?

Well then, back to your regularly scheduled wish corruption, already in progress...

So Crafty should get into the pamphlet business now?

Fine.

Be that way.

Crafty starts releasing each PDF in print form. However, in order to make it work they scale back the release... um... schedule.... yeah, let's go with schedule to one PDF a year so they can fill the book.

I wish people wouldn't give up on their insane, ludicrous dreams. Wink

Granted! I proceed to conquer the world with my warrior robot race!

I wish that good book series wouldn't start to suck after a while.

The Auld Grump, I will do my best to teach them about life and what it's worth.
I only hope that I can keep them from destroying the Earth!

Granted, but you are thwarted by a recovering mad scientist turned cop and Mars.

I wish Kzin could find a printer for the second book.

Heh - that wasn't my wish, but I like the one you granted better, so I'll take it. It's a miracle of science!

Granted! Larry Niven's Kzin print their second volume in 'To Serve Man.'  (Plains apes!)

I wish that miniatures weren't getting so very expensive.

The Auld Grump, who considers himself more of a mad engineer....

*ASIDE* I had not realized that the second volume hadn't been printed yet. Sad

Granted. We go back to the early days of GW and Warzone/Chronopia where models were cheaper, but also looked like shite in comparison.

I wish I didn't have to sleep as much as I do (6-7 hours on average), thus enabling me to get more completed in a day.
