At the moment, not much. I really need to rethink my life!

Redemption. I may be a realist, but I'm an optimistic realist - "I know people are going to screw things up, but man I hope they don't". I get all emotional when people rise above their mistakes, their pettiness, or their prejudice to prove that humankind really does deserve its place in this universe. Apologies, reconcilliations, and even this last election really got to me in that way - I like seeing the "better angels of our nature."

Children. All of 'em.

Writing. In fact, the act of creating anything.

While I enjoy seeing my foes driven before me as much as the next guy, my top three, in order but if I'm deprived of one it can move up:

1.  My Lady's smile
2.  A good beer
3.  A medium rare steak with salt and pepper.

I've even pulled off days when I got all three.   Smiley

1. Agreed, though I'll take my Lady's smile. Smiley
2. Particularly something in the style of English Brown Ale.
3. Blasphemer. Boneless ribeye seared on the outside and cool on the inside.

Once again, it seems we're on the same wavelength.

The bitterest fights are among the truly faithful.  (Sear the outside and just make the inside warm.  And I'm not so picky as to demand ribeye, but real fire is the best.)
