What is a Thugee?

Just one of the coolest historical villains of all time - barring Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, of course.

Go watch The Deceivers. Great flick based on the colonial British effort to bring the Thuggee to justice.

The only Indiana Jones movie that I have disliked - wrong costume, and using a knife to sacrifice to Kali - who demands that no blood be spilled in her sacrifices.... And they all died when the raft hit the water, the bottom tore out, and they drowned. My disbelief suspenders went *SPROING!!* during that movie. It was like the screenwriter decided that basic research was beneath him.  Angry And it isn't as though Hindu was a dead religion, either. No excuse at all for that movie. The fact that the female lead ended up as Mrs. Spielberg just made it perfect.

I don't know how the story ends...
But I do know what happens next.
