Sadly, it has yet to be hunted down and killed.

Possibly the worst Bond tune ever, frankly.

What a weird combination. Stick with Alicia Keys - she's dreamy.

But I still think this song is better than Chris Cornell's theme to Casino Royale....bleah. Lips Sealed

You got that right.

I'm not sure who said it, but their reaction to Cornell's "You Know My Name" can be applied here: I wanted to stick an ice pick in my ear.

It's bad. There are some over at the Joblo.com that think this is a decent song and they think "You Know My Name" is the best Bond song ever...

Pups... they're all mere pups that don't know better.

Bah. The bond theme is hit or miss anyway. The opening montage can still be good even with a crap song. I'm feeling good about this movie, don't try to bring me down Sad

QoS will be excellent :crosses fingers:

Do you mean the original version, or the neutered version that appeared in the movie? Personally, I loved the original.

It seems like they're moving away from the style of the first 20 with these new movies. More rock, less ballads, which I can understand even thought I greatly prefer the former.

I don't kwown if its the worst one....   that's debatable in my mind, but if the song is the worst thing about QoS then I can live with that.  The trailers have me stoked for this one, even a bit more the CR.

Oh yeah... the "Live and Let Die" theme hasn't kept me from hating that movie.

IAWTP. The original pre-release version is one of my high repeat songs.

The song itself is quite reasonable, as the Guns 'n' Roses cover of it proved. It's just a shame they chose McCartney to do it.

Living Daylights by A-ha. Best. Theme. EVAH! I also felt that Timothy Dalton was closest to Fleming's Bond - charming, but utterly merciless. Then again, maybe that was me feeling better about seeing the back of Roger Moore.

Alicia Keys is great, but what do you expect when you get a Muppet like Jack Shite involved eh?

I confess a nostalgic affection for Duran Duran's A View to a Kill, myself.  Yeah, the movie was a howler, but the song wasn't bad.

For the sake of my redemption, I'll also confess a certain affection for Tina Turner's GoldenEye theme.  But that's largely because Tina Turner, y'know, rules.
