World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Cinematic Intro: It's actually pretty sweet even if you're not a WoW fan.

Also, this Minecraft thing is getting a wee bit outta control.

I got my hands on the upcoming Doctor Who Wii game last weekend. The Sonic Wiimote is pretty sweet, though it may be a little too big for small hands, and the game's graphics are fairly limited being on Wii and all, but overall it was fun.

So, my roommate and I got through Force Unleashed 2.
5 hour suck-fest. It looks great and when it stops to have a character moment, it's really good... but it's final fight is tedious, there is no real story, and the whole game is, as I stated, a mere 5 hours long.
A rental at most, but I would really recommend giving this one a pass. It's a real let down. It feels more like an expansion or a side story than a real game. There's even sections that feel like whole chunks of content are missing. Just not worth it.

I dropped $20 to pick up a copy of Mass Effect 1 the other day, only to discover that it doesn't work on 64-bit Win 7 systems. *Sigh*

It installs fine, then crashes when it tries to open the configuration utility. This is apparantly common to the original version of the game, but has been fixed with later editions

I'm on a 32-bit windows 7 and it's VERY unstable for me. Sometimes I wont get more than a couple of minutes in before it crashes. Turned back to my 360 copy.

Anyone playing Fallout: Las Vegas?

Thinking about picking it up during the weekend. Have to see if I can find the Collector's Edition.

So can you patch it up?

I haves.  Is good.  I haven't had all that many bugs, so I count myself lucky.  It's as good as Fallout 3, and the story is less campy than Fallout 3's.  Factions, companions, ammo and actual damage reduction from armor.  All good additions.

Pretty much this. I didn't like Fallout 3, but I'm really liking New Vegas so far. I think the bugs have been really overplayed on this one, seems to be required for Obsidian releases now...

Seems to be more dialogue-heavy than FO3, I've actually played for hours in a row without having to engage in combat at all (definitely a good thing, considering that the combat system was IMHO never anything to write home about).

Haven't completed it yet (and honestly, not sure when I will, there's an absolutely overwhelming amount of quests in this game), but so far I can give the recommendation from the perspective of somebody who really did not enjoy FO3 or sandbox(y) games in general...
