Well, I got a PS3 for blu-ray and will be trying to enjoy all the options it gives me - and that'll include Fallout 3 for sure, and SWFU (that does sound like a nasty acronym), probably. That said, there isn't exactly a horde of games waiting to jump into my ps3, maybe I've just gotten even pickier in my old age...

(Also, it's good to be back, that last job almost killed me)

/N

p.s. looks like it did kill a part of me - my post count Tongue

 Cry Huh? Shocked

Oh. My. God.

That truly is the most retarded thing I have read in a very very long time. It's like the worst case of Mary Sueism I've ever encountered.

Well, I downloaded the PS3 demo of Bioshock and, after having cried out loud twice during it, decided to preorder it. Glad I didn't miss it entirely!

(Also managed to reverse engineer my stupidity, apparently)

I'm playing the PC version a bit in the cracks when I have to turn my brain down to "simmer." It's good - way creepy, atmospheric beyond all reason, and difficult without being annoying. The open respawning level/escalating resource management design is nice, and I love the hacking system.

Possibly Game of the Year material.

Are the changes from the previous versions aren't really as bad as everyone thought they would be?

On the downside, it's a completely different game.  However, the completely different game is true to story, true to feel, and handles great.

Speaking of good times involving metal and mutants:
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift is out!
I'll post a review once I get at least a rental spinning. Motorstorm: Monument Valley was all kinda of scree and squee, so expectations are high.

I've been hitting Fallout 3 pretty hard, it seems more like a fun way to spend time than an actual addiction. I only got Bioshock now that it came out on PS3, that was more in the addiction vein.

That said, I was hoping for something good to come out of Star Wars Old Republic Era, not another MMORPG I have no time for or interest in. And now that the two abovementioned games are out, I have no idea if anything interesting is in the pipeline. Guess I'll find out...
