Here you go.

Oh dear.  I just had an idea.  (This won't end well.)  The Amazon Brigade expansion:  All the X-Com agents are built like superhero babes, with appropriate modifications to their armor.  Make the sectoids midget chicks, and the slender men cheerleaders.

Yeah, just... just look at the reactions, and you'll understand.

Wow, you got some fairly harsh treatment over there man.

Personally though, I'd never actually pay for purely cosmetic things of any kind (which is why my XBox Live dude is wearing a duster that was in the generic stuff and a cowboy hat from RDR).  I certainly wouldn't bash someone for considering buying cosmetic enhancements though, unlike some 2k games members.  That's probably why I only lurk on most forums.

Oh sweet download, why aren't you done yet?  I clicked you 30 seconds ago, isn't that enough time to make me wait?

The opening was worth watching on my work computer, I'll know more about about it tomorrow morning, after I go to bed early while it downloads overnight.  Smiley

Console version coming "soon", but I'm tempted to get the PC demo anyway...

It is only 5 GB...

New definition of hell; sitting at work, knowing that demo finished downloading at home about an hour ago.....

The demo was short, but sweet. It's the two first tutorial missions and a brief look at the base. The first mission is entirely scripted (go here, then here, then here, then shoot, etc) while the second is more free-form, but still extremely linear. The base is likewise pretty locked down, you can scroll around but you can't examine any of the rooms, except for where the tutorial wants you to go (armory to promote a soldier, research lab to choose research, mission control to choose/launch next mission).

Wish it was longer, all it did was make the wait even more unbearable....

Couldn't help myself - I downloaded it.  Between Wine and the game itself though... yeah, no dice. Sad

Hope the XBox version isn't too far behind, I know that they did say "soon".

The game time when I finished the second mission was 0331, at 0331.  I did go to hammock early to get up early to play, but this is ridiculously awesome.  This wait is going to hurt...  (And I really should go back to hammock.)

Second.

Between work and childminding taking up 14-15 hours of my day, I haven't had a chance to play much so far.  But what I have played was frequently hilarious and absolutely top notch fun.  Had a bit of a play with the Siren and Commando classes so far, and I'm tempted to try out the other two before I get to play it properly after the school holidays are over.

Right now i am playing a siren healing spec. If you are going to play coop i suggest having one of these. It is nice sitting back with a sniper and being able to res teamarltes with phase lock.
