Totally agree.  No news and then an announcement consisting of 3 pretty amazing gameplay vids (that look pretty damn close to release).  Far as I'm concerned it's pretty close to game of the show.

The Halo 4 live action trailer is very nice though.

EDIT: Also, like 5 minutes of Halo 4 gameplay.  Not sure what their reasoning for the Elites being part of the covenant again is, but hopefully it's one that makes sense.  Still, that's a very nice looking shooter right there.

Also, is it just me or does the protagonist from Watch Dogs look a lot like Dylan McDermott (the dude from Dark Blue and American Horror Story)?

Star Wars 1313: A little info, and a little gameplay.  If they manage to pull of their claim - that the whole game will be active the way that segment is, it has promise.

Ok, so SSX on the PS3 has one purely defining moment, and terrifically enough it's early on.
Hell, it's in the Demo.
You kick out the helicopter door for the tutorial, and just as you do this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ9gFAKYRYE
starts to play and it's perfect alchemy of experience.
Just the vast open sky, the distant mountains, and a patient series of lessons on just how exactly you're going to be seducing reality into not killing you for hurtling along the snow at 110mph.
The rest of the game is actually pretty challenging. Learning of the dedicated, determined sort is unavoidable.
But that moment?
That moment of transcendent Music and Game fusion into something utterly enrapturing?
That happens again. Often.

So yeah. SSX. It's worth a look.  Cool

No love for the E3 XCOM trailer?

XCOM got all my love.  So did Watch Dogs.  ..and SimCity 5.  (Don't judge me!) lol  I was, however, greatly disappointed in Nintendo.  For a company that needs a stellar product to quote, unquote 'save' the company, the Wii U trailer for Zombi and Smash were.. meh.

it has been lost in the sheer amount of awseome dumped all over everyone by the rest of e3 this year. between starwars 1313, watch dog, forza horizon, and many many more games i just cant keep up.

No love for the E3 XCOM trailer?

Watched it earlier today and totally forgot to post it.  Still looking awesome.

Halo 4 is getting some coop multiplayer.  Looks pretty neat, but it's described as weekly episodes, so I hope it's not a "do it this week or miss out" type thing.

Saw it yesterday, too busy geeking out over it to post anything coherent.

Yeah, I read about it in Game Informer.  From the way it sounds it might be that, though it could just be a constantly updating campaign list that they keep adding to, too.  We'll have to wait and see.

X-Com, Transformers, and Halo 4 are the big "must haves" of my list for games coming out this year, so far; they all look so awesome!  Grin

No love for the E3 XCOM trailer?

Doesn't look bad.
A little less tactical, and a little more Gears of War, but appearances sometimes deceive.
