alright, silent hill downpour the game is a pain to control, with some frame rate issues, but one of the best atmosphere's in the business. in other words a perfect silent hill game.

For those who loved Tribes...

Tribes Ascend is in open beta.

It's using a Free to Play model, with microtransactions.

It lives up to being the successor to the ultra-fast, team FPS.

I loved the original. I had a great set-up of nothing but Bruce Campbell quotes (from various movies and television shows) that I set in as general responses triggered by events in the game. I just loved that level of customization. Also, hearing "Well, it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye" whenever someone in the party dies was just kind of neat.

Considering I played it several times and have a pile of other stuff... maybe. Depends whether my netbook will run it.

The Walking Dead - 400MS  points per episode, 5 eps planned (also available for PC and PSN - not sure of pricing, but around $4USD).  I'm a huge fan of cell shaded graphics and The Walking Dead (comics and TV series), so I'm looking forward to a gameplay clip to see how it plays.  First EP available April.
