Sorry for the reply delay - yeah it's standard.  The store near me is actually sold out of N7 on all platforms (but I can't speak for other stores).

Neat - if this works as advertised no more stupid "you can't watch this trailer because you're not American" notifications.  So, cheers much mate.

Don't know if it's my internet or Tunnelbear but it makes videos a bit choppy (if it's a service you can pause and wait for it to stream ahead then it's fine), of course all ME3 does is connect to authenticate you're in the right zone and then you can disconnect it.

It takes zero configuring as well so no messing about just install and hit the switch for UK or US and go, useful little service.

You know what they need to add?  Tie ins to other EA games, like Mass Effect, or Dragon Age.  Own the other game, or pay a nominal fee, and get some building sets.  That would be cool.

Does it really matter if the alien invasion disaster features little flying saucers or Reapers?

It sure don't matter, and would be pretty sweet.  How about giving your cops blue lightsabers if you own Star Wars?

Or import a Civ V game into X-Com.  How awesome would that be?

I hate when an amazing trailer has "not representative of actual gameplay" on it.  Still looks pretty amazing.

Bioshock Infinite just got 100% more amazing: The Motorized Patriot.  Because more games need clockwork American presidents with gatling guns.

Is there an easy way to move Skyrim saved games from one computer to another?  Via the Steam cloud perhaps?

C$\Users\...\My Games\Skyrim\Saves\

You should just have to move the files into the new profile's Save folder?  That SHOULD work.. I think...

If that wasn't cool enough: The Handyman - it's pretty much what it says on the tin.  Steampunk cybernetics is about the coolest thing ever.

the baldurs gate site i linked to earlier had a countdown, that ended today... it seems that the countdown was a self destruct timer. but according to Trent Osters twitter it was for an enhanced edition. whatever that is i will find out when traffic to the site slows, or they get the new servers. whichever comes first.
