The newest Syndicate trailer makes me want to play that game quite a bit.  Hopefully I have the free time to dedicate to it on release, because come March 6, it's not gonna be put in my xbox at all...

God this country fucking sucks sometimes.  Stupid thing is the reason they gave ("[humans can be] explicitly dismembered, decapitated or bisected by the force of the gunfire") is something that's in other games that recieved MA15+ ratings.  Pack of fucking morons, I swear.  Same people who spend millions on an ad campaign with the slogan "There's no excuse for piracy." - I bet plenty of gamers just came up with an excuse that they'll be using when they pirate Syndicate.  It's not even that I'm super psyched for Syndicate (I think it looks like some fun, but it's not ME3) - it's that as an adult I'm told that something is "too mature" for me.  Though I'm likely preaching to the choir here...

On another, yet related, note - any of our UK members (or Aussies who are sick of our disgusting price tags) know of any good gaming stores that ship?  I've got some XBL friends who order online, but they have nothing but bad stories (Skyrim arriving a month after release, getting standard copies when they ordered collectors editions).

You have to understand:  This is for the children.  Any and all odious measures are acceptable if they are for the children.

Heh, that would been kinda funny actually.  I'd give props to any game company who resubmitted a game that had been refused classification with flowers instead of blood.  They could even replace the bullets with rainbows.  But no, oddly enough, this is totally cool (actually makes me wonder exactly how graphic Syndicate is...).

Well, there are finally moves afoot to give us an R18+ category. Probably in a year, if we're lucky.

Interesting story: when the most recent Predator vs Alien game was initially refused classification as an MA15+ game, the company refused point blank to resubmit a nerfed version of it. Which led to the classification board reversing their decision and classifying it as MA15+.
