Yeah, as long as I can start the download today, we'll be good for Friday.  Actually, leaving work early so I can start right at 5PM CST.

I need to download it at work and at home.  I'll be joining some battle brothers late on Friday, but I want to test it on my work machine anyway.

Wait.  Wait.  Let me get this straight - you have a job where you can play Star Wars at work?  I think I need to start doing what you do.

Also, for those playing - I wouldn't mind hearing what it's like.  I'm not gonna be part of beta or anything, but this is the first MMO that actually has my attention since I stopped playing Ultima Online and Everquest (original).

At least I'm not the only one who busts down some SoaSE during work time.  (Or whatever game is your poison.)

Yahtzee reviews Battlefield 3

Worth watching if only for a familiar "game mechanic" that is used for humor.

Nope.  Just going to download it.  I'll be chilling at work before meeting some battle brothers.  I'll have some time, AFTER WORK, to play in the office.

To clarify... we typically game up during downtime or breaks.  Or when we're compiling something that takes 2 hours and there's not a damn thing we can do until then.  Plus.. we don't make overtime.. so it all comes out in the wash. lol.

To double clarify...

I kid, I kid. Smiley

Even if I wasn't, that sort of thing would be at the absolute bottom of the list regarding overspending, inefficiency, fraud, and waste in the relevent TLA budgets. Probably not even on it since in the long run it probably boosts efficiency and productivity.

First up, from personal bias and hate, I'd look at EDS and NMCI.  Grin

LOL.  Oh, I know you kid.  Just didn't want any new comers to go.. wt-duece?! lol.  But yeah.. NMCI-HP-EDS-NGEN-XGEN-One Military / One Network - 42 Service Providers.. yeah.  All I can say is.. to the boys in camo good f-ing luck! lol  Though, I thought EDS was bad.  Then I had to do a space inspection after a reported incident.  HP is stubborn, arrogant and stupid.  All at the same time.  It's like a beautifully elegant firey train crash.

Though, you're right.. when you bump into the 60th hour.. a break of SoaSE (or WoW for our one degenerate who can't seem to figure out massive space fleets..) lets you hang in there just long enough to get the project done.

Very much appreciated, but just don't do anything that could get you in trouble.

In other news - my local EB Games broke the street date for Skyrim, so my copy is installing as I type this.  I could have picked it up about 8 hours ago, but I decided to be responsible and finish off my work for the week, so I could play it without putting things off.  While it's installing I had a flip through the art book and it really makes me want to run a Fantasy Craft game again (and in the guide book there's some stuff that I think might make nice conversion material, too).

DCU online went free to play a few days ago.

Yeah, I signed up for that last night -- holy crap it's going to be a time sink. I'm a little disappointed that you're kinda stuck with rather pneumatic builds, but otherwise it's pretty fun -- and Oracle is a lynchpin character.

Ooooh, Metropolis is so very pretty -- and it's built in a dam!
