i played the demo for a bit. are the orcs and actual faction now? also i like how they did not turn the orcs into absolute unthinking brutes.

Orcs are the backbone of the Stronghold faction now. And yeah, they're pretty cool, being shamanic ex-slaves-but-still-oppressed demon-hunters.

Here's a very nice fan-made manual if you're interested about the factions and units and such.

DLC also out today, except for PS3 Europe (grumble). Been playing this for a second time, makes me yearn ever more for a good suitable cyberpunk system... Wink

For those 10k fans: Saints Row the Third has much competition this season, particularly from a pair of 500-pound gorillas.  How does it hope to compete?  By parodying the heck out of the other guys, of course!

Thought it was SWEET, a lot of good stuff for a fan of the series, like me. Also took me 7,5 hours to complete, so it's like a longer version of a call of duty single player campaign. Wink

So we got a new Shadowrun game coming again
http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/223923/shadowrun-gets-new-top-down-browser-based-game/

I hope it is good. I would really love a good SR game again. I loved the roleplay of the SNES version, but the matrix sucked, though I really liked the matrix in the sega version, but the story lacked a little compared the snes.

I sincerely hope they pull off a decent Shadowrun game.  I like the property and would like to see it turned into a decent game (not that first person hack job abomination Micro$oft did).

Ask me off-line how I really feel.

Do you need a drink to prompt you too?

Butchery of the Shadowrun fluff aside, was it a decent action game?

i would also like to know about the MS version. i avoided b/c of the seriously bad reviews it had but was always curious b/c it was shadowrun.

kind of like alpha protocol i can't understand the bad reviews it got, and i'm enjoying it immensely.
