Ahzad - Alpha Protocol is GREAT, and i'm notoriously picky. I've played it through, like, three times, and I NEVER do that.

picked up Alpha Protocol from Steam today for $2. so i'll be checking it out soon.

Do remember that the first area, Saudi Arabia, is basically a giant tutorial, so it's kinda bad compared to the rest of the game. So if you think it's good so far...

Meanwhile, I made the critical mistake of looking up Mass Effect on tvtropes (I won't link to spare you a similar fate). I've now lost two days of work time, and have a massive hankering for ME3.  Cry

TVTropes is nearly as bad as World of Warcraft for eating all the time you give it.

Also, I finally got around to playing Mass Effect 1 & 2 and I'm glad I did.  (Btw, if you haven't, you should.)

Welp, there goes Christmas...

Also, what's with the launch disparity between the US and Europe? Sad

Bah, Star Wars. Wink

DARK SOULS is due quite shortly!
The spiritual successor to the gripping, fiendish difficult Demon's Souls Dark Souls promises more dungeon crawling, more vaguely incomprehensible plot, more terrific dark fantasy atmosphere and best of all -IT WILL BE EVEN HARDER.
Supposedly.

So yeah. If you haven't (and you have a PS3), get Demon's Souls.
And once you've had a taste....prepare yourself for Hell.

Do remember that the first area, Saudi Arabia, is basically a giant tutorial, so it's kinda bad compared to the rest of the game. So if you think it's good so far...

However, choosing the option to throw that cocky arab arms-dealer prick off the bridge is most satisfying...

Double bah!

I totally missed the whole Oblivion thing. Few times I played it I was kinda bored, too. Great mods for the PC version, so I'd heard.
Dark Souls, man! Dark Souls!

Don't even start on launch date disparities.

Can anyone recommend any bonus map packs for Portal I? I already have the one based on the Flash version.
