If you attended GenCon this year you already know it was Crafty Games' biggest yet! Here are some of the highlights...

    * We announced not one but two new print products! The first is a license we're very excited about, which we'll cover in a separate post. The second is the much-requested Mastercraft version of Spycraft, which will be a standalone product with the focus squarely on espionage. Both products are scheduled for release in 2009, after Fantasy Craft, Ten Thousand Bullets, and several other projects currently in development.
    * We made a lot of noise about it at the show and it's worth repeating: Crafty Games is looking for freelance writers, editors, graphic designers, and artists! If you've got the goods and looking for new opportunities in all genres, drop us a line!
    * We previewed Fantasy Craft with a full demo adventure and attendees got to check out over 25 complete pages from the book (including all of the Combat chapter)! We won't be previewing all of that here on the site but Fear Not! Many new previews - including several examples of those magnificent interiors crafted by Steve Hough and Ben McSweeney will be showing up here in the near future! In the meantime, be sure to stop by the Fantasy Craft product page for a host of previews available right now!
    * Alex Flagg and Patrick Kapera were interviewed on site as part of the "This Just In From GenCon" podcast series. Check it out here!
    * Once again our annual seminar was recorded for posterity. It should be available at YouTube in the next week or two. We'll post it to the Links page when that happens.

Pictures and other stuff from the show should crop up on the site over the next week or so. Be sure to watch for them! In the meantime we'd like to thank everyone who attended our events and visited us throughout the weekend, and extend a special thanks to all the folks who helped make the show so wonderful for us, especially our print partner Mongoose Publishing and their fantastic booth crew, our electronic distirbutor DriveThruRPG, our friends at Fat Dragon Games, videographer Jim Fortsas, writer extraordinaire Loren Dean, and our incredible event team: Matt Howes, Bernard Cana, Andy Davis, Jerry Ham, Dennis O'Brien, Michael Reeves, and Tom Stevens.

EDIT: Technically, we also announced a new PDF product - Vow of Silence, a setting for Spellbound. This was the surprise setting behind this year's LARP. As with the new books, watch our In Development page for details in coming weeks.
