Is it possible to pre-order & pay now for the Second Printing, so as to take advantage of the currently rather favourable exchange rates?

Well, the mongoose shop has a preorder function, but I don't know if they actually charge you now, or when it ships. Going by most online shops, I'd say when it ships Undecided

Yes, they charged me the month I pre-ordered the WoF.

No, at least I didn't find a link that would allow me to pre-order from Crafty's site.

Currently, we don't have a preorder system. We are starting to look at affiliate distribution, which would definately benefit us in the long term, but nothing has congealed yet. At this point, the 'Goose is your best bet Smiley

This also helps overall, as it offers Mongoose (and us) a better idea of demand. While Mongoose's printer means that this is ultimately less of an issue, it's still something we have to watch. Smiley

There's been nothing offered by us, as we don't have any way of making such an offer...so, not that I know of Smiley

I could swear to god i saw something....

it wasnt a deal about some sort of buy one get one half price or something, it was just something mentioned about Second Printing and WoF.

Coz i remember someone was asking whether its worth buying the pdf and getting it printed and bound himself.  And then i vaguely remember one of you three guys mentioning something too him about waiting until they came out in dead tree format coz there was some sort of a suprise....

or am i going completely bonkers.

You're right, we DID mention there is a definate reason to hold off on printing/binding your own copy. However, I was referring to 2.0 SP by itself - nothing I said indicated it was necessarily a special financial reason, though Smiley

Sometimes our teasing is vague (particularly mine) so I can understand how you might have made a small logical leap to that Smiley

I think my comment on the said thread is confusing you - upon hearing there was a reason to hold off until actual release I made a comment like "buy one get one free?"  Though I was being somewhat sarcastic at the time.
