I was really looking forward to the release of Fantasy Craft for one reason and one reaosn only. Becuase that would mean the four would start working on a project I could ACTUALLY look forward to, 10kB.
Does this new high priority Fantasy project, mean even more delays before Crafty gets back to us modern fans and renews 10kb progress? or is it still the next book after Fantasy Craft? I'm really really disapointed if Mistborn means even more delays on a book I actually want to see.

There are no delays or schedule adjustments planned. Ten Thousand Bullets is still the print project coming after Fantasy Craft and, if anything, it'll be easier because of Mastercraft. It may not seem like it because Fantasy Craft has taken longer than initially expected to complete but 10kB and future books all become much, much easier to get out there as a result. It's all about building the proper foundations.

Don't fret. Mistborn is due next year, but not until after Ten Thousand Bullets.

So 10kB is using Mastercraft...... Does that mean that Mastercraft is what was hinted about here: http://www.crafty-games.com/forum/index.php?topic=1550.msg23431#msg23431 ?

The post in question...

Gods yes. Chapter 5, the latest triumph in the Fantasy Craft arena, was about the most fun I've had working on anything in a good long while. Smiley

Remember kids, when you're perusing your favorite new Crafty product down the line, that this summer changed everything.   Cool

I tend to think that he's talking about this downtime system they alluded to at GenCon.

Yes. We had decided to do Mastercraft about a week before that comment.

Specifically, that comment was about the Mastercraft combat chapter, which was built first for Fantasy Craft but will vary only a little between Mastercraft releases.
