Well, havnt even played the game yet and my book is falling apart. I heard there were some faulty copies going around and yup this will be one...almost immediately started tearing and coming apart, despite my overly careful nature with my roleplaying books.

I had to order this book from the states here to New Zealand and I assure you it was not cheap, now to have it start to fall apart before we've even got to run a single game!

Please tell me you can refund me a new book, I want to play this awesome game but cant read it for fear of the cover falling off and pages going everywhere!

Indeed, pretty much every book from that run seems to be messed up. Like the OverNinja said, hit Mongoose up.

In the meantime, since it's already coming apart, you might consider stripping the cover and shaving the binding and then getting the whole thing rebound. There's a few threads here about that, and what type of binding ot o for largely depends on the amount of money you want to spend and what you want out of it (lie flat, extremely durable, etc.)

Let me guess - your copy has a square, rather than round binding and 2 distinct "sections" if you look at the pages in profile. Sorry to hear about that! That would be one of the earlier printings which they were having trouble with. The new one is much more "textbook-ish" with a rounded binding that seems nigh-unto-invincible.

Mongoose has been excellent with addressing these issues. Contact them at sales@mongoosepublishing.com.

They really have been quite good about replacements - I had mine for longer than some (I coddled it) until the fatal *POP!* occurred. Even though it had been a number of months Mongoose did in fact replace it after reprinting.
