One I used this past week to prevent what may well have been a mini TPK.... (Wounded Gargoyle PCs vs. Gatling guns and a flamethrower... an encounter planned for the full group, not two wounded gargoyles.)

I flipped it over the front of my GM screen.

Sounds like an NYPD Homicide t-shirt I had back in the day.   ;D

There is something about working with death to give one a gallows sense of humor...

Is that the same as being dead-pan?

Not unless you're telling a joke about that time you almost got shot in the face.

That's not to say you can't used the deadpan presentation, but it is much less common.

Clearly the baby - the player is using the animal talents that SilvercatMoonpaw put together.  ;)

Depends on if you are a human or dog.

The human familiar could be babysitting the dog.

I need to know were that pic is from...

I am making a Nuclear winter post apocalyptic setting with Atomic Highway and this looks like a good handout for the high tech environmental armour my players are using

I could be wrong, but I think its a Space Marine from Warhammer 40K setting.

Yeah, you're wrong.  Still a cool pic, though.

That Full Auto dude is not the Space Marine you are looking for.

No problem.  Considering the number of Space Marines in popular culture nowadays, they sort of start to blend together.
