Ya know, I so want to stat up a Lone Wolf from Ghost Recon 2, fully equipped with Land Warrior Armor and an XM29 OICW (I got BFoG: This is My Rifle, it's the core I'm having trouble getting).  I can only imagine the havok I'd be able to cause!

By core you mean the Land Warrior? If so, then the BFoG: This Is My Gun is for you.

Rules Lawyer Question:

In Partner Basics, part of the text reads: "...any weapons you hold readied..." Is the use of "hold" significant, or can it be any ready weapon, whether or not it is in hand? For example, a character with Knife Basics can count any knife on his person as "readied." Can a partner use one of these "sheathed" knives?

Yes, since that weapon always counts as readied.

Will we ever see a gathering of all these PDFs into a book that we can purchase?  Im ok with printing and then putting into a binder, but it'd be sweet to get the whole collection in one fell swoop.

Maybe, if and when we get enough together to warrant a full book. There are no plans to do this in the immediate future, however.

No, I mean core as in Spycraft 2.0.  There never seems to be any in stock when I look for it, even online!  I'd buy the pdf, but I'm a bit nervous about anything over $2 that I don't have a hard copy of.

Well, this weekend it's 25% off as well, if that makes you feel any better Smiley

Ask your FLGS is my advice. Books are starting to show up in stores and from Mongoose directly, meaning you should be able to find a copy of the core pretty soon!

Oh, I so want to believe that...  but enough of my woes, back on topic.  So, great supplement, this!

Just make sure that if you have your FLGS order it when it comes in that it has a round, not a square spine. Or order it from Mongoose directly.

So, we have sort of a dearth of reviews up on DriveThruRPG lately - since a lot of people seem to have an opinion about this release, anyone care to comment? I'll give you a cookie...  Grin

Thanks Psion! Much appreciated. Smiley

We can always use reviews folks, so if anyone has the urge please act on it.

FLGSes everywhere should be able to order the book now (ISBN #978-1-905471-89-8). In theory, distributors shouldn't have any of the square-spined books left but we are hearing a few reports of them slipping through. Should your FLGS get a square-spined book, please let us know so we can track down the source.
