Ahh, if only it was that simple. Taking down Mugabe would turn him into a martyr amongst his followers (who are maniacal enough already) and send the country into a downward spiral which would lead into further violence. You would also have many other African nations falling in behind them in support. Not the best situation for any country to get into.

I know. That was purely a tactical analysis.
We'll have to wait for Mugabe to croak on his own, he's pushing 85 so it shouldn't take too long.

EDIT: corrected age.

The whole martyr thing is a problem, though how much faster the spiral could be is up for debate.  But how can a 20 year old guy be a "veteran" of a conflict that ended 30 years ago?  Huh?

I just can't comprehend that. I don't even think the inflation in Wiemar Germany was that bad.

Wiemar Germany was never that bad.  2.2m% annual inflation works out to 60,274% per day.  That means that pack of chewing gum that costs $.30 today costs $180.82 tomorrow.

But then I don't read the Constitution as trying to enumerate all of our rights.
It doesn't try.  The Bill of Rights is a list of areas that are to remain free of governmental interference.  Most are designed to defend against a tyranical government.  (Much more of a danger, especially when you consider the logistics of invading across an ocean and finding an armed and hostile populace.)

One of the Federalists major concerns, in fact, was that by enumerating natural rights in a Bill of Rights, those rights not so enumerated could be more easily trampled by the State.

Yeah, people rant on about how Robert Mugabe was a hero of the liberation wars yadda yadda where was the opposition leader yadda yadda. They forget that poor old Gordon wasn't even born until after the conflict was over. Like that's his fault.

Gordon... Brown? I'm pretty sure he was born before the (old) madness in Zimbabwe subsided. Mugabe didn't come to power until the 80's.
