Very nice ... I think Rory and James Stewart at Origins were dreaming of this little clip during the convention. .... Although I think Rory wants the flamethrower instead....

This was my inspiration.  Smiley

Oh man, I just discovered they've made another video, this time about the Soldier.

They even made him a nice little backstory:

Quote from: Soldier backstory
Though he wanted desperately to fight in World War 2, the Soldier was rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Undaunted, he bought his own ticket to Europe. After arriving and finally locating Poland, the Soldier taught himself how to load and fire a variety of weapons before embarking on a Nazi killing spree for which he was awarded several medals that he designed and made himself. His rampage ended immediately upon hearing about the end of the war in 1949.

Not quite as funny as the Heavy Weapons guy, but still chuckle-worthy. "Unless it's a farm." indeed...

Genius, I like it! "Specialty: Uncloak and Dagger."
Liked the technique shown too. Should be fairly balanced. Loved seeing the Engineer wipe out the Bazooka rush with his automated weapon.
I've been looking for something like this...might have to dust off the old team FPS skills.

Oh, and I'm positive the Scout's sidearm is a nailgun.
Guessing he's not as "all-pro" as the rest of the team.  Cheesy

He makes up for it with the EMP grenade which sets off all the ammo on your body. ... It really helps detonate all those heavy weapons, demolition, and soldier guys who make it past your sentry guy.

Yes, ... I used to play the first TFC game in a clan.

Solid. I never tried TFC, I was a CS moron all that time. I might get into this incarnation though. At the very least it has excessive amounts of style.  Cool
And an EMP grenade sounds like lots of fun. =d

Think the Engineer is more my style though, but we'll see... I like tricky, clever sorts of approaches over outright mayhem.
Not that I don't like mayhem, quite a bit to the contrary really, but there's almost always someone already willing to charge ahead and get a fraggin'. Nice to think outside the recticle sometimes.

That said, what the hell is a Pyro used for? I'm guessing anti-close combat duty, keep the Spy the hell away from the less mobile archetypes like the Sniper.
