It seems to be a day for movie news, so here's one more...

The first official Iron Man trailer has been released right here

For convenience sake, I extracted a number of screen grabs:

As someone who passionately hates dealing with Apple's trailer site, is it available elsewhere?

I liked everything but the Iron Man song being on there. .... It just sits wrong with me. I understand the reasoning but it still just sits wrong with me.

I had no idea what you were talkinag about until I tried to watch the trailer. I finally did get to watch the whole thing, on the 7th try. What a horrible site.

I got by fine with it ... Then again I have QuickTime and a cablemodem so it just went really fast on the first try.

I loved the fact that they used the song.  It's one of my son's favorite songs and I've always enjoyed it.

Quicktyme Alternative and a cable modem also do quite well be me.  However, I also have this sub-24 MB file sitting on my hard drive.  Anyone daring enough can drop me a PM.

Arrgh, I came here to post this and it seems I've been beaten by several hours. Curse work!

Iron Man rocks!

i just searched youtube for it, it has been taken down. what confuses me though is ,why would paramount want it taken down from a site that is providing them with free advertising space?

It's probably because they don't receive ad revenue, or some similar deal, when it's viewed on YouTube. Either that, or they're still a little technologically backwards. Hard to say.

Try checking the other YouTube-esque sites, like Daily Motion, to see if they have it.

My biggest problem with Quicktime is that even after I've changed my settings, it seems to want to be my default player for everything, which is quite annoying.

Also, I can't stand to let Iron Man fall this far down the page  Cool

My biggest problem with Quicktime is that even after I've changed my settings, it seems to want to be my default player for everything, which is quite annoying.

You can turn that off in the window where it asks - just click the "don't ask me this again" box and click no.

If that doesn't work, you can always go into Options/Tools (I believe) and manually turn the option off, then turn it on for your media player of choice).
