I'm really curious, in the aggregate, about my fellow board members. I'd appreciate if you answered this entirely unscientific poll.

If you wouldn't consider your marriage a "romantic relationship," feel free to check the "Married" box anyway. Tongue

No relationship, unfortunately. Compare this to my answer in the other poll you just started, and you might understand why I'm depressed a lot.

You should probably toss on "Divorced".

I thought alot about "divorced," and also about intentions (similar to the children question), but ultimately decided I was more interested in current status. Divorced I view as a comment on history, intentions as a comment on the future.

I dunno.. ask my supervising agent if "Divorced" is a history.. he'll go into a 2 hour tirade about how the crazy woman still haunts him 3 years later.  Swears up and down that Divorce is a much kinder fate than marriage.  He calls himself.. "Happily Divorced".  ...We still wonder how he passes his Psych evals.

VERY UN-happily divorced. Still reeling and recoving from pain, 2 years later.

I still feel I will never recover.
Too screwed up from divorce to be in much of  a relationship, though i sort of have one, it's VERY casual nowadays.

For what it's worth, it took me ~10 years to get over my divorce. Not that I miss her - I didn't when we were together - it just took that long for the trauma and fallout of the experience to fade.

Well, I just proposed to my girl and then moved halfway across the country for the next 2 years. So, here's hopin' that this plan works out the way I hope! Of course, given my track record of plans (other than the naked guy in the dish machine plan, that would have been awesome) I'm pretty sure this one is that good plan that I've been due for a while now.

While I clicked on "No Relationship", I feel the poll was lacking an "Engaged in large quantities of man-whoring" option.

I'm in the third year of a serious relationship and while we will be married in the future, we are planning nothing yet.

Damn.  That sucks.  Sorry mate.

...ever notice that normally, it's either one of the two.  People are either super-happy or super-miserable.  There's no inbetween.  Damn that cupid.  *goes into writing a mission to take out Cupid*

Congrats to all those maintaining a relationship .... as for me, the longest I ever had was 16 months about a decade ago ... just have never been forward enough ... my tongue likes to tie itself in knots when I get around a girl I'm attracted to, unless they speak to me first ... very weird....
