Shadowforce Archer
« on: July 01, 2007, 11:58:30 AM »
Having acquired the Shadowforce Archer book and its 2.0 conversion a few months ago, I've become interested in running a campaign in the SFA world. If I created a game here, would there be enough people interested in playing for me to run it? Ideally, I'd like five or six players. I've already got a campaign structure worked out, I'm just looking for an opportunity to run it.

What sort of character level and supernatural options are you thinking of?

I'm thinking of starting at level three, with the full range of magic and psionics that are available in the setting.

Any chance of playing as villains?

I hadn't really considered it. The campaign I wrote is more or less for the good guys.

Possibly interested. When would this be starting?

I just need to finish writing up the introduction, and I can start the game sometime this week.

Oooh... unless the posting rate is very placid, I don't know if I can commit that soon. I've got a lot on my plate right now.

Where in the SFA timeline would you be setting this? Begining of PC storyline or after all the published events?

While I admit I'm not a big fan of SFA, I'll play.  Feel free to consider other people first though - I've got a few games to play/run and there's some who are stuck without.

The start. I only have the first book, so I really can't start it anywhere else. Also, I like to have the freedom to develop the various plotlines in my own way.

Good players are hard to come by, in my experience at running games. I'd be willing to delay the start if it would help.

I'm interested.

What Campaign Qualities are you using, besides the SFA ones?

Unfortunately, I put this campaign on the back burner a few weeks back after the replies stopped coming in. I've actually been working on another campaign (a military themed one) that I'm hoping to run here soon.

What kind of military campaign?

Black Ops, CT, historical or something else?
