We've got the iconics and demo characters (at Levels 1 and 3, respectively) on the Downloads page but please feel free to develop your own if you like. The only concern we might have is reprinting of class and feat abilities, etc. If you went beyond about Level 5 (typically our preview cap), we'd ask you to restrict what you release.

I personally (and only my opinion) would go for "The Day Of The Bullet" continuation mission where "The Agency" has known about "The Triggerman" [insert backstory from Living Spycarft here] and has found out that his next victum is [insert new NPC plot hook here].  You mission is to [insert pre-gen characters here] stop the assasination attempt at all costs.  Simple and easily enough to play in a 1-shot mission.

I like the idea of divorcing the Triggerman from his WoF background a bit--new players will already be digesting new mechanics, so it makes sense to keep the fluff simple and easy to grasp.  I suggest this mission presupposes a murder-for-hire group called the Triggermen, who only work on what has come to be known as The Day of the Bullet.  That way there's a bit of an excuse for a gun battle (or two) versus groups of assassins.

Or a mission where the players are the Triggermen, the goal being to pull off the DotB assassination while a bunch of Agency goody-two-shoes try to spoil the fun.

Why can't both be true? Write it from both perspectives and let the GC and players decide what to do with it. Smiley

:Update

I have received the pic of "The Day of the Bullet" from Pat and have sent to Rodeo (my other half) who has started playing around with designing a Poster of some sorts from it.  Just wanted to give an update. Smiley

Update.

"The Day of the Bullet" Poster is coming along rather well and I think people will like it very much.  I was wondering what others thought would be appropriate wording announcing this special day that should be on the poster.  Suggestions?

Below can be a forum/news announcement with the finished poster pic included somewhere later.

“Official” Spycraft Day
March 20th – “The Day Of The Bullet”

Play your favorite Spycraft mission with your friends and post about your day’s experience online.  Introduce new gamers to the world of Spycraft at your local gaming store or other venue.  This is a day for gamers from all over the world to come together and honor the art of espionage and the game that is…Spycraft.

Okay, here is what I thought the wording could be as a starting point:

“Official” Spycraft Day
March 20th – “The Day Of The Bullet”

A day to honor the art of espionage and the game that is…Spycraft.

Should Date, Time, Mission or anything else be included?

Should Date, Time, Mission or anything else be included?

The intent is for people to use this to schedule their own Days of the Bullet, right? Assuming that's the case, then I'd just add white-backed spaces for each where folks can add the info as it's decided.

I have sent the above info to Rodeo so she can draft a mock-up of the poster with the wording below and spaces for Date, Time, and Mission underneath or something.

“Official” Spycraft Day
March 20th – “The Day Of The Bullet”

A day to honor the art of espionage and play the game that is…Spycraft.

*EDIT,  I added the word PLAY in the description as that is what the intent is.  Wink

Well, after a collaboration of efforts from TheAgencyStar and Crafty Games, the Spycraft flier celebrating the “Official” Spycraft Day March 20th – “The Day Of The Bullet” has been approved and is being converted to two PDF files, one low resolution and one high resolution.  The flier is slated to be 11” x 17” so it will definitely stand out, but you can scale it down to print on a 8 ½” x 11” sheet as well.  I printed a very nice hard-stock glossy 11” x 17” print from Office Max for about 2 dollars and is rather impressive compared to my home printer.  The PDF fliers will also possess interactive fields in the information spaces at the bottom of the flier so you can type in your information instead of having to write it out with a pen.

I would like to say thanks to Pat from Crafty Games for providing some of the artwork that went into creating the flier and to Rodeo from TheAgencyStar for designing, editing and the layout of the flier itself.  Here is a snapshot of the flier and will be available for download on TheAgencyStar website in the near future.  Again, thanks to all that have helped out with getting this under way.
