It's actually June 7th for D&D.

Which just happens to coincide with the release of 4th Ed.  Funny thing is, the past two years they've held it in early November, and now it falls two weeks before Free RPG DAy. ñ_n  All the more reason to find a day of some actual import to declare World Spycraft Day.

Thank you, Number Three.  I was certain D&D day had been in November the last couple of years.

To be honest I'd have to do a little research. Smiley

Give me until after the weekend and I'll see what I can do.

I thought it was in October when Crafty was born and LSpy was officially announced dead (or dead to be).

The new site (this) went live around June 15th last year.

Pat, any update?

Not yet. Long holiday weekend followed by a loooot of the zany. Good zany, but zany nonetheless. Let me see what I can dig up.

... ah, the Loot of The Zany - what young midshipman hasn't heard that story and wished he'd been born earlier, to participate in the frenzied pie-tossing that marked the closing of the ships, the claustrophic rubber chicken melee below decks, or the anarchic joy buzzer riot that erupted from the ranks...

So it turns out that pretty much all our company days are... not to helpful. They're basically all in late December, around Christmas, which is when we made the original founding announcement and when we've done all our State of the Company updates. So... any other suggestions?

Then maybe we should just make December the official Spycraft month instead. Grin

Let's then use Fleming's birthday (May 28th) as the Spycraft Day.
I know we missed it this year but it's his 100th b-day this year!

My nominations for this years recipients are Cmdr. Ian Fleming and Cmdr. James Bond.
