Anybody going to be at DieCon (Collinsville, Illinois, May 30-June 1)?  I'm running a couple of Spycraft games, and was curious if anybody from here would be there.

Sadly, I have to bow out this year, but I'm hoping - hoping - to make it in 2009.

I got home from the con about an hour ago.  It was a good weekend - played in two RPG sessions and ran one;  the second was canceled due in part to being scheduled up against a Spycraft live-action game.  One of my players - who had never played Spycraft before - bought copies of the second printing and World on Fire from a vendor after the game.  That was gratifying.

Great work, Tracker7! We shall contact the Guild of Calamitous Intent immediately to upgrade your henchman status. Expect better armor and ammunition next mission.

End of Line.

And a Venture Brother riff to boot.

Wait...

Does this mean Pat is really David Bowie in disguise?

In all seriousness, I was pleased with the con.  Lots of games of all stripes, plenty of vendors, and a terrific location.  If some of the rumored nonsense about Diecon's sibling, Archon, turns out to be true, I'll be even more happy to continue to support Diecon.
