Tomorrow morning, I will walk off of a stage at my school holding (not literally, they'll mail it to me later) a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I'm a bit nervous, mostly because I haven't done the legwork to find a job yet, so I'm kinda hitting the ground rolling instead of running. Hopefully I'll be able to get a decent job inside of the next month, then I can start looking for an apartment. Wish me luck.

Congrats on making it that far! I lasted two years of uni before we both decided that we weren't right for each other and should start seeing other people.

Keep at it with the job hunting. It's hard to find something good immediately, but if you keep your eyes open and talk to people already in the industry, you're bound to find something sooner than later.

Congrats!

I couldn't find a job when I graduated, so I ended up going to grad school instead... watch out for that one! Wink

1.  Good Luck.
2.  Don't do what I did.  Get 3 degrees in 3 unrelated (mostly) majors.
3.  If you're not a programmer, start banging out Certs.  (Security+, MCSE, CCNA, Digital Forensics, looong list.)
