Radio controlled helicopter + recoiless automatic shotgun....

And the latest in H.A.L.O. tech....

Ah, the AA-12 Automatic Shotgun (available with FRAG-12 HE shells) and the Hammer remote turret.
I've seen it on a bit larger drone helo (not live though  Sad).

The Gryphon looks radical.
That should be statted soon, someone is bound to want it sooner or later.  Wink

Init V; Atk VI; Def V; Res IV; Comp II; Skills: Acrobatics V, Blend IV, Notice V, Tactics IV; Wlth 0; Weapons: 1 × Call V USAS 12 shotgun (UPG: Custom Handle, Multimode laser sight); Gear: 1 × Cal III gadget (item: A/V Tranceiver. housing: self), 1 × Cal III gadget (item: goggles with 1.5x-4x day/night/thermal sight. housing: self); Vehicle: None; Attacks: Rotor Blades (2d6 letal, E/T 1-3/20, Qualities: BLD), Shotgun (2d12 explosive, E/T 1-3/20, Rng 30 ft., Ammo: 20D2, Qualities: IMP, TKD). Qualities: Augmented (chainsaw), Construct, Feat (Magic Bullet, Two-Weapon Basics, Urban Training), Fleet II (flight only), Flight (120 ft), Sluggish (0 ft. ground), Superior Attribute (Dex 18, Wis 14), Undersized (Small).


NB: The Magic Bullet feat account for the explosive shotgun damage (the requisite ammo upgrade being a Cal I item in most cases), while the chainsaw accounts for the rotor blades.

Nice, but...

The Gryphon is a stealth glider for SpecOps.
Can carry 100 lbs., has a HUD and onboard oxygen. May be weaponized, and plans are to mount a drone engine to boost range.

The helo is a standard radio-controlled toy helicopter with twin AA-12 shotguns.
Blackwater has been involved in the development, at least when it comes to the AA-12 and the turret system.

Changed. Swapped out the removeable qualities for a gadgetised goggles and an extra feat (Two weapon Basics -  reflects the 2nd gun), and dropped down a size category.


Gryphon personal assault wing - Cal I Hangglider (UPG: Camo (Night), Acceleration Increase I, Control Increase II, Top Speed Increase II)  + Cal I Proteus Device (Parachute)  gadget + Cal I Secret Compartment gadget + Cal I Flight helmet with oxygen tank.

That's 1 × Cal III gadget pick (proteus and compartment) + 1 × Cal III vehicle pick (upgrades) + 1 × Cal II vehicle pick (glider + helmet and oxygen)

My reaction, upon seeing the footage of the heli-drone in action, was 'I have to either show this to my players or make sure that they never see this!'  Grin

Considering how fast they have come to love their recon drone....
