Something about the  link on this page has definitely broken it - all the entries beneath it are ident further in than they should be, the left column is wider than normal, and at least the first ten pixels of the page are irrevocably off-screen

It's because the link, in Firefox, is forcing the link onto one line (in IE7 it breaks the link onto two lines). Because of that it forces the user block to the left.

I think this is the first time I have ever seen IE more capable as a browser than Firefox. Heh :D

Really?

I mean I love firefox, but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to cope with Google Maps. :(

Google Maps work fine for me (I've even incorporated them into websites I've designed ;))
