He needs to remember that it has no buttstock and he'll need to find a way to brace it.  (Like a sling and a brace that leans on his hip.)  Ma deuce can also feed from the left or right easily.  Just swat the feed tray and cover.

A carbine version of the M82 might be a better choice, though a heavier barrel or cooling system will be needed to keep the sustained rate of fire up.

But yeah, we can do that.
