Quick post to say it was great to see Alex in Portland at the Gamestorm 10 convention. It's a good con, and deserves some Spycraft.

We talked about 4E, 10K/LSpy/FantasyCraft/etc., Saga, L5R... much fun for me to hear what Alex was thinking about various subjects. The 10K sample pages looked great.

It is clear that there is a lot of interest in the Portland area, but it needs a bigger push to get something rolling. Alex and I talked about doing that, probably after June when some of the other good promoters I know will be finishing their LG responsibilities. The time to strike is certainly before 4E and LFR become too established!

Here in Arizona I've been teasing people using Origin of the Species: Classic Fantasy Races since that debuted. I also have been discussing melee combat feats and showing to certain players who are more susceptible or have shown more interest in FC. One of my infrequent LSpy players gave a resounding "Yes! I can't wait for it!" when I made the initial announcement of FantasyCraft and then he proceeded to cry in joy when I showed him the benefits of combining an Elven Archer Origin set up with the Scout.

Start talking with players who liked Spycraft already by showing them the benefits and I think it will get the ball rolling...
