Folks when Spycraft first went to Crafty I had an idea for a game, related to Doom, Resident Evil, ect.
I did not pursue the idea for a while but I have been revisiting the idea with the revision to the system, WOF and the other additions to the game.  The basic idea as recently reflected on the Control forum, 3-4 'soldiers' wake up with amnesia in a setting that is basically a mix between Doom and Rainbow 6. I'd be looking for 3-4 players to play the soldiers, the characters would be pregenerated and would start out as 2nd or third level.  I would also be looking for a Scientist/Doctor character and they would be free to make thier own character at 4th or 5th level. If more that five players were interested then we could have either security or other staff from the facility. If anyone is interested let me know, any questions please ask. I'll add more details later if there is enough interest.

Grin  Welcome, lets hope we get enough interest. Each soldier would have their own speciality, ie heavy weapons, recon, ect. though they would not 'know' they know for a while. So with the soldiers I would need some imput from their players as to what speciality they wanted, and the minutia of the characters I will pregen the characters and the initial scenes would be them trying to figure out what the heck is going on. If we get a scientist or doctor type he will have some important knowledge about the soldiers and the general situation, now whether he is really a good gut or bad guy may not be setled for some time, though if he is a bad guy he might just not survive the game at least not with out some consequences Cool

I'm in -- here's the character idea quickly:
Quote
I'm Jesse Buck, and I'm a Marine. I always take issue with people that say Marines ain't smart -- let me clarify: most marines are slightly smarter than bricks, but they're bricks armed to the teeth who specialize in handing people their butts.  Some of us, however, are smart enough to calculate the rate at which your **** is going to get ruined by a bunch of heavily-armed bricks, and happen to take a personal liking to a number of those bricks, and don't take too kindly to you going to all manner of lengths trying to corpsafy your brick brothers.  Plus, there's nothing like a testosterone-charged Hoo-Rah to wake you up in the morning.  The money for college and retiring with a full pension after 20 years doesn't sound that bad either.  I care about the men that serve with me, no matter how boneheaded they get to, we take the best, try to smack the stupid out of them when we can, but at least they're controlled, effective stupid.  When you positively, absolutely have to kill every living thing in the compound,  you send in the Marines. We have come to judge between the living and the dead and that makes us mighty.  Also, and this is a fact: Chuck Norris is the baddest man alive who is not a Marine.

That should give you some ideas to work with.

Wink  So we have one HO-RAH Marine, and one I'm not sure what. Good so far, if we can get one or two more troopers and a scientist type we have a mission, Bwahahaha.

Mercedes Davis, heavy weapons and motor pool.  Yeah, yeah, a chick on heavy weapons, get over it.  I grew up in a nice Southern family who liked the sprint cars and NASCAR, so I'm a motor head, so why am I so angry, what the hell am I doing here...

 Cool
So we have a Marine, any particular speciality? Force Recon?  or something else?
An SFODD operator, Also any particular speciality?  Or do you want to be suprised??  Shocked Grin
and for Sludig What branch of service?

We are in need of a scientist and hopefully another soldier. Any other folks interested?

The game wil be set a few years into the future, all of the soldiers will be Spec OPs types.  Weapons will be advanced modern weapons and some futuristic weapons will be found, I may keep it simple or go with an established unofficial suppliment we will see.

I wouldn't mind playing a combat medic... mostly because I want to try out the Medic class. I realize it'll be a while before we get there, but that's ok.

Within the next week or two, I'll give a couple of days to see if any other folks are interested since I think we need the scientist and I'd prefer it to be a PC but if necessary I'll add him as an NPC.  I'll outline the three characters we have so far, soon, and try to get the initial introductions done next week or so.
Welcome, a medic is always a good idea, any particualr branch youd prefer to be from?
