While I wait for the henchmen edition of Spycraft I've decided to go back to playing 1.0(actually more like 1.5). I'd like to introduce psionics into the game using the SFA rules for them. The question I have is...how are the rules?...Will Psionic characters dominate the game? Any other problems with the Psi RAW?

It's been a while since I've seen them, but psionics were handled a lot like special actions.  Effectively, a character of one of the three psi classes had a bunch of nifty gadgets that pulled off a common battery.  That said, they could get NASTY if given time to prepare, and nothing stopped them from using normal equipment as well.  Again, it's been a LONG time since I looked at that stuff.

Unless otherwise noted, Psionic attcks are considered full-action hurled attacks, and are thus affected by all abilities and feats concerning hurled attacks EXCEPT those that increase the number of attacks per round (though a GC may of course decide to change this); typically increase in attacks/round is reserved for specific psionic class abilities and feats.

There was the conversion doc distributed with the SFA PDF.

It's part of the PDF zip file on sale through DriveThru.

Hey Pat - is the conversion file anything to do with Mr Andersen's conversion work? 'Cos that did kinda rock.

Scott generated the two conversions out there - for the Spycraft Espionage Handbook and Shadowforce Archer Worldbook. He may have incorporated some of Mr. A's ideas but I can't say for certain.

Hate to be the one to say this, but the SFA conversion doc is the only Crafty Product with which I'm completely unsatisfied. The conversion rules for psionics seem to have not been playtested, and they don't hold up too well to player creativity. I tried using them in one campaign, and I don't plan on using them again.d

How did you find them lacking?

Double-checked and no, the conversion docs included with the PDFs predate Mr. A's efforts.

Various little niggly bits, most of which I can't remember at the moment. The big ones were "How hot is fire made by Pyrokinesis in its various modes" and "How the hell does TK do falling damage? What height are the targets considered to have fallen from?" stuff like that.
In general, the robustness of the material is significantly less than I'd expect from a full product.

Consider the height of the targets the difference from where the projectile was launched to the point of impact ...
