Heard this once on Tuesday... and I'm still rather obsessed with it for some reason.

The Way by Fastball

Not only is the song stuck in my head, but the story behind the song has burned an afterimage in my brain as well.

::Google to the rescue::

Huh. I've heard that song tons of times and never would have guessed that was what it was about. Cool!

I've been listening to And One's newest (from March, I've been distracted) studio album Tanzomat.

It's an interesting mix of poppy, dance tunes and darker, emotional pieces. It's more NSFW then their earlier albums and the lyrics are loaded with commentary and sarcasm.

It's not Bodypop, but I think it's solid. The VNV Nation fans here will probably like it and the rest of the band's catalog.

Something I remembered to listen to recently.
Fantastic to wake you up or keep you awake and pumped for an epic work session! ;)
Wait for the drop.

Filo & Peri - Ashley (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)

Cheers! :D

Trip the Darkness by Lacuna Coil from their forthcoming new studio album.

I have a crush on Cristina Scabbia (the lead singer).

Both these latest tracks were awesome (thanks boys!), but I especially love the second. So love Lacuna Coil. :)

Because of my daughters... I got Cobra Starship's "You Make Me feel Good" stuck in a loop in my head. I'm not even going to let you all suffer my burden. I did watch the video for the first time the other day: (A) Sabi (who is a guest for the track) is really freaking cute. (B) I think that's Robin Williams in the video.

Again, I'm not going to link the video. If you seek it out and it gets stuck in your head as well... I cannot be held responsible for that.

Need a little uplift?

DJ Shah Feat. Chris Jones - Going Wrong (Magic Island Mix)

Oceanlab - Satillite

Oceanlab - On a Good Day (Daniel Kandi Remix)

I can almost see myself singing into a hairbrush with these...

Cheers! :D

Here's a track you'll probably instantly recognize by an artist you've likely never heard of.

Vengeance - Zack Hemsey

I'm given to understand that this haunting track is the one used for the Game of Thrones trailers. He's got a lot od other good stuff on his site, too.

Henry Jackman - First Class

...which I had the pleasure of passing along to a freelancer yesterday as inspiration for a project currently in development (tease! ...and... I guarantee it's not what you think).

This track always reminds me of Murray Gold's fantabulous This is Gallifrey / Our Childhood, Our Home - mainly because of the lively rising tempo, though they also share several other highly attractive characteristics as well.

Challenge accepted!

To me, the music just feels cyberpunk.  Actually, it's really fitting of post-humanism in general (which is why it fits X-Men so well).  That's why my money is going down on Chrome (or a different, but similar post/trans-humanist type book - it'd fit Shadowforce Archer or Vow of Silence too, for example).  So outta the titles I know of, I've narrowed it down to: Chrome, Vow of Silence, or Shadowforce Archer.  If I have to pick just one title, I'll go with Vow of Silence.  With Spellbound up next, followed by Spycraft - following those two with Vow of Silence seems like a natural progression (not to mention the potential cross pollination you could get from espionage fans picking up your fantasy range and vice versa).

So... How'd I do?  (Also, totally epic tune.)
