I thought it might be interesting to start a thread for making more unusual talents. Grin
Here's my first contribution (kinda making wild guesses on some of the values):

Coultonian (Non-human):
You are an octopus. Some kind of octopus.

Type: Medium cephalopod. You may simultaneously hold and ready up to eight 1-handed, six 1-handed and one 2-handed, four 1-handed and two 2-handed, or two 1-handed and three 2-handed weapons or objects. Also, during each round that you hold no more than the listed weapons or objects readied, you gain 1 additional half action that may only be used to perform skill checks with the Hands-On (HDO) tag or actions with the Incidental (IDL) tag. Further, you gain a +1 bonus with skill checks made as part of a Grapple action for every two of your hands that are free (maximum +3). Finally, you do not gain the standard bonus feat from your chosen Specialty.

  • +2 Dexterity, -2 Wisdom
  • Your Base swimming speed is 40 ft. and you suffer no penalties for being submerged. However, your base walking speed is 5 ft. and while on foot you are always considered prone (or sprawled when already knocked prone or sprawled).
  • You may breathe freely in air or water.
  • You gain the natural attack (bite I) and natural attack (squeeze II) NPC qualities. If you already possess a bite or squeeze attack, its Caliber increases by 1.
  • Non-vocal: You are subject to the mute condition unless the target possesses line of sight to you.

Sqid: Evolved from a scavenger species, humans just don'tunderstand you - which is half the fun.
Type: Medium horror. You are subject to the standard modifiers for your type. Further, you only gain the bonus feat from your specialty if it is Collector, Criminal, Grifter, Investigator, Pick Pocket or Unknown.
  • +2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma.
  • The bleeding condition does not affect you.
  • You gain the augmented (attack (stress) II) quality, usable once per scene.
  • You gain a +1 insight bonus to checks to determine surprise. This bonus increases by a further +1 at career levels 4, 8, 12, 16 & 20.
  • You gain a bonus Cal IV environment suit.
  • You gain the aquatic, fast healing and low-light vision qualities.
  • Deeply Reviled: The initial disposition of any character that does not share your native culture and is aware of your Origin is reduced by 2 grades.
  • Favoured Class: If you have more levels in a base class than your levels in either Intruder or Thief, your starting action dice are reduced by 2.
