And how would he know that? Roll Eyes

Because I've been jazzed about them since they came out a bit over a year ago Wink

One group we have here in SoCal uses Homies figs - the ones you used to get out of the quarter vending machines, which have exploded into their own little cottage industry. They fit pretty well and the flavor they project is outrageously cool. They'd be stellar for a 10kB campaign.

The problem with Homies is often making them stand up. You almost have to give them bases as well. So, although I, too, have a selection of them, they don't come with the inherent stability that comes from a Lego minifig stuck on a 2x3 flat.

I like the Lego idea guys, a mate play D6 Star Wars and has loads of Lego figures for his game, I dont think I will get many by next week when I start so am looking for pics from Spycraft cards at the mo.  So annoyed I was a UK Games Expo a few weeks back and they had packs for £2 in sale and decided not to get them.

Does anyone know where I might get PDFs or even resonable downloads of the cards as the are hard to find on the net?

Oh and thanks for all the suggestions.

True, but you could easily glue them to wider bases, solving that problem in a couple minutes per fig.

If you need vehicles, I offer a real cheap solution. Paper vehicles. I'm not talking the blocky rejected-from-the-A-Team-flip-and-burn-motor-pool that most publishers offer, but models that actually look like real vehicles Here's some pics:

1994 Jeep Cherokee & a 2002 SMART ForTwo

2000 Honda Civic 4-door Hatchback

3 SMART ForTwos with 25mm Ral Partha Shadowrun Miniatures for scale comparison.

Volvo S-80

Mitsubishi Colts

Suzuki Turbo Carry, a kei-class truck sold in Japan.

Each model costs $1.00. Cardstock, ink, and glue costs you another 10¢ to 15¢ per unit, plus anywhere from 15 minutes to 90 minutes construction time.  Models in the pictures above have all suffered through about 3 months of typical in-game miniatures abuse.

They look like they'd scale really well with Clix

Yep. They 1/48 scale, which puts them on target for 28-30mm minis. Thus they're a little large for 25mm (the base of a mini helps offset this disparity) and a little small for clix, but in both cases, they still look suitably scaled.

Where is the best place to find these.  I don't recall seeing anything like this where I buy most of my RPG books and I usually order minis by mail.

If I had to guess, I'd say I could probably find them at someplace like D&J Hobby, but places like that have SO much crap, you can't find anything.

Have you tried looking online? Wizards.com used to have a selection of 3D buildings in PDF form on their site that you just had to print out and glue together. Have a look around and you may be able to find something on sites like DriveThruRPG.com.

Best place? The only place to find them is on my website. If they sold in stores, you'd be paying $2 per sheet and have to pay that much for every sheet you purchased. By selling them on the web, you can buy it once, then print and assemble as many as you want.

Specifically, you'll find them in this section of my website: http://www.bakabanashi.com/arp/catalog.php?view=1&lineid=13

Worldworks, Microtactix, and Fat Dragon Games all offer urban environments and roadways. I'll be adding such things soon, too. I've already got a sophisticated urban bus stop package available.

EDIT: Wheee! fixed my atrocious spelling errors!

Heh, after reading the Sweeper class for the Farthest Star setting, while suffering an unsuspected bout of fever (I get hyper when feverish), I built an entire industrial block from World Work's  Platform Command with the intention running the a scenario in the setting. Never mind that the setting was not due out for about another year.... I ended up donating the silly thing to a group of gamers who play Necromunda.  Roll Eyes

It actually did not look too bad, but keeping the thing undamaged, and unused for a year... not bloody likely! I will however keep the layout in mind for later use.

For my Delta Green/XCom: Enemy Unknown Spycraft crossover game I have a partially assembled location using First Light and Shadowcore Prime.

The Auld Grump, yeah, I like the stuff. Smiley
