Wow, you guys are pretty good about answering requests, so...

1) Stats for the Walther WA2000 sniper rifle? I remember seeing it in the MAG, but I've lost it between the three or four moves between 1.0 and now.

2) A player of mine asked me how much a carbon fiber barrel would cost for the above rifle and if it would do anything for his stats?

Thanks a lot!

And Agent 47 in all the Hitman series.

Does a ported barrel work with the silencers I always see at the end of them?

And is that really supposed to be a 0 on recoil?

Ok, I just re-read the Walther release on the WA 2000:

-Telescopic sight - my bad
-The barrel is not ported. It has no porting anywhere in the standard version. Ported barrels for the WA 2000 are an aftermarket upgrade. Plus it's heavy, double checked on my sources.

Nope. And some of those "silencers" are simply flash-hiders. To use a supressor you need a threaded barrel which is not compatible with porting.

As a guy who used some of the Walther guns I must say they rock when it comes to recoil. Almost none felt.
And the WA 2000 has been designed with this in mind.

Is the silencer compatible with the heavy barrel? I mean, I know there's  the TBR upgrade, but can't you just thread into the tip of the heavy?

And wow, 0.

Thanks for the info again!

Can rifles have custom grips?

Gaah, where's my head today.

No, they can't according to RAW. But the WA 2000 was offered with this option when produced. Damn producer info.

Corrected.

Here's a design question....

When dealing with licensed knock-offs (for example the Israeli Galil), would the core stats be the same with the qualities being a judgement call based upon the weapons' performance and design?

What about unlicensed knock-offs?

Depending on the quality of the knock off and the nature of the design, I'd say some mixture of increasing the Error range and stripping DEP / adding UNR.

I could have sworn we did the man portable cannon... Sad

The question is how do you write up it's baton rounds. Wink

No, we discussed it in BFoG: this is my Boomstick topic.

I'm thinking (said the sage to the lass) about the non-lethal rounds.

Anyone want to venture a guess on what the differences between the M40A1 (in the book) and the M40A3 (which my player wants) is? Preferably in terms of upgrades.
