Former airman of the Air Force's Security Forces and was part of Phoenix Raven program. Later joined the DOE as a materials transport specialist, often scouting out an area weeks in advance of a DOE convoy or team.

Mr A.  Would you be adverse to me tweaking my character to make up my own Specialty.  The one i have now doesnt quite fit the concept im going for, and neither do the others in the book.  Ill post it here for you to approve before i actually changed my character.

Also i think im gonna remove the level of Triggerman I have and put it into probably either Thug or Scout.

Um, well the Guardian Specialty almost hits the nail on the head for what im going for, but i dont see my guy as a heavy armor type wearer. The Intimidate/Resolve thing is pretty much it.  Think Lincoln on Prison Break.  But i also picture him as more close combatant.

Backstop. You are the last line of Defence against the enemy, and sometimes that drives you a little crazy.
Requirement: Any non-Neutral Allegiance.
  • Bonus Feat: Opportunist.
  • Your base speed increases by 5'.
  • You gain the feral NPC quality.
  • You may avoid receiving the fatigued or unconscious conditions from taking damage to your wounds a number of times per scene equal to your starting action dice.
  • You gain the Mix-Up (Grapple) and Mix-Up (Tire) proficiencies.
  • Each time you gain 1 or more ranks in Intimidate, you also gain an equal number of ranks in Resolve. This may not increase your Resolve skill beyond its maximum rank.
  • Bad Vibe: The starting disposition towards you of anyone who doesn't share your Allegiance decreases by 1 grade.

I will ammend my character when i get home and have my books in front of me to make all the changes.

Im not sure what the Mix-Up Proficiencies are though...

It's from Practice makes perfect. Provided you haven't used the action the trick applies to for within the last 3 rounds, you get a +3 bonus to the skill/attack check required for the action. So basically, you're good at grabbing people and wearing them down.

Mr A, are you happy with the following as a Caliber III Pick:

Any 1 Cal II Armor + 2 Upgrades (Low-Profile Armor [poor/average] w/ Laser repellant coating [3 upgrades, possible DR 6 Laser Damage]?)

I was tryin to go with the whole armor/clothing like Ronon has in terms of looks, but add some sort of DR against goa'uld weapons.  Just let me know.

Im still tryin to decide on another Caliber III gear pick but cant think of anything at the moment that would fit the flavour of the character.  Got any ideas?

There's a Damage Resistance gadget at Cal I (Pwr 4) & III (Pwr 8) that might be what you're looking for, and could be housed in a suit of armour.

So, Cal II Low-profile + Cal III DRes 8 vs. laser. Use your other Cal III pick with your gun, which then frees up one of Cal I picks for something like a Sensor Mask (Thermal/Metal) to go with your armoured coat, or maybe the Security Device (Palm Scanner) gadgetted into your gun to prevent anyone else from using it?
