Two questions.

1. Where are the stats and movement rules for wheelchairs?

2. Can a crippled character still benefit the team outside of a Advocate/Hacker capacity?

There are wheelchair stats in OotS: Light of the Olympus, for people with tales instead of legs. I don't have it to hand at the moment.

1. Wheelchairs are in Origin of the Species: Light of Olympus.

2. Drone Jockey (Wheelman/Observer). Scientist.

How about ideas for a wheelchair that don't involve an existing supplement?  Smiley

Use the same rules as running.  Strength bonus for Acceleration, and Dexterity bonus for Turning.  Make the top speed equal to the Strength bonus in MPH.  Def: 10, Save +5 (Same a a bicycle)

*chuckle* Selling (some of) those ideas is how I pay my rent Smiley. Chimera's take is certainly servicable though.

When you say Strength "bonus", do you mean the score, or modifier?

Thus, would Willy the Wheels go 14 MPH with his Strength of 14, or 2 MPH?

2 MPH.... Unless he was on a downward slope with the wind behind him.  Cheesy

Of course if that doesn't work for you, just give the wheelchair a base speed + Str. Bonus.

5 Base + 2 Strength = 7 MPH... or something similar.

Of course there was an elderly wheelchaired gentleman in the news recently who somehow became lodged into the grill of an 18-wheeler and pushed down the highway at approximately 65 MPH.  The driver of the truck didn't stop until he was flagged down by passers by on the interstate.  The man in the wheelchair was unharmed.

Hey, I saw that on the news too!  Cheesy

In any case, with the gadget system being what it is, movement shouldn't be an issue.

If it came up in a game I was running, I would stat up a high-performance wheelchair as a muscle-powered personal vehicle, like bicycles are...or maybe just use the bicycle stats.

And yes, that would make for a pretty solid wheelman, stuntman or street knight  Grin

Having done time in a wheelchair, I'd actually do A/T as Con/Str

Having seen Murderball, I'd tend to agree with Mister Anderson.

Ah Murderball. It's the sort of sport Daleks would play if they understood the concept.

I had forgotten about Murderball.  That was an interesting film.
