http://imdb.com/title/tt0808372/

Well, it was announced about two weeks ago.

I'm wondering how they're going to pull off some of the scenes without making them too over-the-top on the big screen.  Undecided

"too over-the top" and "on the big screen" aren't compatible statements.  Smiley

And the line between them differs from one viewer to the next.  So just go over the top and let the audience decide, says I.

Heck, someplace there's probably someone who liked the 10 minutes of uninterrupted bullet-time in House of the Dead (a little Uwe Boll reference there for Koala).  Wink

He just produced House of the Dead, he didn't direct. So, still possible that someone might have enjoyed it. A Uwe Boll director credit is like a big sign that says "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here". There's a greater suck factor available, though. He could be producing, directing and writing a movie. But who would let him do that???

Well, the directors and producers are still catering to a demographic, which means there are guidelines to follow. They're not banking on the minority Smiley. I'm just hoping the movie has an R rating...

People always miss the reason Boll does any movie. To make money. Due to some oddities and loopholes in the German tax code, he's like a real world Max Bialystock. He spends insane amounts of money on movies that he does his best to make horrifc so they loose as much money as possible. He then claims a tax break for his troubles.

I'm just hoping two things:

1. They don't rely on CGI too much.

2. They don't stick with Viggo Mortensen for Snake.

Viggo's probably a good choice at the moment, since the other people who come to mind (Kurt Russel, Michael Bien) are, and look, too old.

I guess it depends on what version of Snake they're going to choose. Biography-wise, he's Half-Japanese, Half-Caucasian (American), but the depictions of him vary from artwork, to games, etc  Huh?

Now, I know one person that might be good for Revolver Ocelot if they decide to use this characater:

http://imdb.com/name/nm0784884/

Accent might be a problem though, age too, but he has the look down for the most part.
